AANP State Representative

Kristina Davis, DNP, FNP-C, AGACNP-BC, ENP-C of Cheyenne, is the AANP Wyoming state representative. Dr. Davis has over 20 years of nursing experience, from working as a licensed practical nurse with chronically ill pediatric patients to teaching doctoral candidates in Family, Acute Care, and Emergency Nurse Practitioner Programs.

She is currently the emergency nurse practitioner program director at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. Besides her academic employment, Dr. Davis works clinically as a sole provider for a critical access hospital in rural Wyoming with responsibility for admissions, admitted patient management, and managing emergency department patients.

Dr. Davis special interests include active involvement in shaping healthcare policy, APRN advocacy, course development, international endeavors including emergency nursing education, and the pursuit of medical mission trips.
